Chalachithra Sameeksha the first edition of Chalachithra Sameeksha, the official magazine of the Kerala State Chalachithra Academy, was released in August, 2017. MT Vasudevan Nair released the first copy to noted filmaker Saeed Mirza to mark the event, and 32 editions have been issued. The bilingual magazine that was conceived as a part of the Academy’s initiatives to propogate a film culture of superior quality has been well received by academicians and cinephiles alike. The magazine includes both serious discussions on cinema, and intervies and well researched articles on nnoted film personalities to give closer insights into their lives and works.
